RNSH Emergency Department Appeal

Breath of Hope Emergency Department Appeal

Please help us provide the very best respiratory support for patients in Emergency by donating today.

Your generous gift of $50 will help raise the $30,526 needed to buy RNSH a state-of-the-art ventilator for the Emergency Department.

This winter, our Emergency Department at Royal North Shore Hospital will need to treat more people, the elderly and the young, with influenza and pneumonia, as well as patients with chronic lung disease and other respiratory diseases – struggling to breathe and desperate for emergency assistance.

The demands for emergency care keep growing. This year more than 92,000 patients, including 23,000 children, will need our help.

We want to give these people the best care possible.

To do this, we urgently need a new Philips Vision V60 non-invasive ventilator for patients who require a higher level of advanced respiratory support. A mechanical ventilator will sustain life for those patients who are unable to breathe on their own.

The ventilator’s automatic calibration will ensure an immediate improvement in oxygenation and blood pressure for optimal blood flow to the patient’s vital organs.

While I work with an amazing team of dedicated and highly trained professionals, it’s having access to technologically advanced equipment that can make all the difference when it comes to saving lives.

Your donation today will be of benefit to hundreds of emergency patients over the next decade.

Yours sincerely,
